Witty Wednesday

At 5:30 AM, this little person climbed into my bed and snuggled up beside me.
She said in a sleepy voice, "Morning mommy, come closer, hold me like a baby. Love you."

Needless to say, my day began with some laughs, love, positive thoughts and prayers.
I am committed to looking at it daily and starting with God and positivity. I read my scripture, prayed, and spoke positive thoughts for today.
At some point, I hope to add writing to my list of morning tasks.

Moving right along...

Kam & I head out to Summer Camp.
We pulled up beside an ambulance.
When the light turned green, I pulled off.
Kam says, "Mommy, pull over. The ambulance has two lights on." I looked at the top and listened for sirens to make sure I wasn't tripping (LOL). She was referring to the brake lights. I replied, "No baby, when the lights are flashing at the top and sirens ringing then we pull over." She says, "That's when they are going to take care of a little boy or little girl, Mommy, and you can't be in the way." *insert huge cheesy grin* "Yes Kam, that is correct. good job."

I was in awe of her wits this morning.
This reminded me that as much as I teach her, she is teaching me.
She  makes me better.
