With that girlish grin, eyes locked on him, she heads in his direction.

Unprepared for this moment, he reaches out.

They embrace.

Melting in his arms, she fits like a glove.

Clinging to him - he pulls her in closer;

air cannot pass between them.

All is right in the universe, right now.

Exhaling, she leans back.

Gazing into his eyes.

Caressing his cheek.

He holds her waist.

Both smiling.

Laughter. Love.

Realness. Relief. Reality.

Sadness.

Silence.

Letting go. She walks away. 

Neither looking back.

Tears.

In through the blinds, creeps moonlight's sharpness.

That moonlit beam, oh so inviting;
It's vantage point, even more exciting.

It shines on your beauty,
while serenading your feign.
A place to hide your ecstasy,
while exposing your pain.

Cringing at morning's sight, but energized by the night.
Tired all day, constantly craving the moonlight.
